AC Refrigerant Service Technician
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is performed indoors and outdoors. May be exposed to various weather conditions, confined spaces, fumes, dust, odors, and noise. Requires the use and wear of protective gear as necessary.
High school graduate or equivalent and five (5) years' experience in the maintenance and repair of commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems; or any combination of experience and training which enables one to perform the essential job functions. Must possess and maintain a 1st Class Proficiency Refrigeration License and a Master Gas License or a State Contractor's licenses CMC-C as a condition of continued employment. Must possess and maintain a valid driver license as a condition of continued employment.
The City Charter requires that City Employees must
establish residence within Shelby County within six (6) months from date of
Employment. Proof of residence will be required at the time of hire.
