TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Primarily desk work. Requires the ability to operate a computer, telephone, photocopier, calculator and other typical office equipment. Requires the ability to lift and carry objects such as boxes of paperwork weighing up to 15 lbs.

TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Majority of work is performed in an office environment.

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field and four (4) years professional experience in Accounting or Finance; or any combination of experience which enables one to perform the essential job functions. Working experience in Microsoft Office Suite and Oracle applications strongly preferred. Must possess and maintain Basic Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBoK) certification or obtain within 12 months of employment as a condition of continued employment.

The City Charter requires that City Employees must establish residence within Shelby County within six (6) months from date of Employment. Proof of residence will be required at the time of hire.
