Golf Facility Manager
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is performed both indoors in a golf shop environment and outdoors on a golf course and includes driving throughout the golf facility and to various offices throughout the City. Exposure to dust, debris and all types of weather conditions. Must be available to work some nights, weekends, and holidays.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Agronomy, Recreation or related field and five (5) years experience in golf operations, golf instruction, or customer services, inventory control and procurement in the restaurant and hotel industries or other customer industry locations, with three (3) of the five (5) years in a managerial/supervisory capacity; or any combination of experience or training which enables one to perform the essential job functions. Must possess and maintain a valid drivers license as a condition of continued employment. Knowledge of the game of golf, including rules of the game and use of golf equipment, etc., is preferred. Experience in golf course operations, as well as PGA membership preferred.
