MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or closely related field and five (5) years’ experience in Accounting or Finance; or any combination of experience and training which enables one to perform the essential job functions. Must obtain CMFO certification within 24 months of date of hire and maintain as a condition of continued employment in the Accountant II tier. Working experience using Microsoft Office applications is highly desirable. CPA or MBA preferred. Governmental or non-profit accounting experience preferred. Oracle Financials experience a plus.
 

The City Charter requires that City Employees must establish residence within Shelby County within six (6) months from date of Employment. Proof of residence will be required at the time of hire.
