Accounting Manager
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or closely related field and eight (8) years’ experience in public, governmental, non-profit, or grant accounting with six (6) of the eight (8) years in a supervisory capacity; or any combination of experience and training which enables one to perform the essential job functions. CPA or CMFO preferred. Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems is highly desirable. Governmental or non-profit accounting experience preferred. Oracle Financials experience a plus.
The City Charter requires that City Employees must establish residence within Shelby County within six (6) months from date of Employment. Proof of residence will be required at the time of hire.
