MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or GED equivalent with seven (7) years operations management and supervisory experience; or any combination of experience or training which enables one to perform the essential job functions. Must have working knowledge of software programs including Microsoft Office applications. Must possess and maintain a valid driver license as a condition of continued employment. Experience as an animal services officer or supervisor in an animal services environment preferred. Graduate of a regional or national animal control academy preferred.

The City Charter requires that City Employees must establish residence within Shelby County within six (6) months from date of Employment. Proof of residence will be required at the time of hire.
