MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  High School Diploma or equivalent and three (3) years of professional experience operating various equipment; or any combination of experience and training which enables one to perform the essential job functions. Must possess and maintain a valid Class "B" Commercial Driver’s License with Tanker (N) Endorsement for tanks 1,000 gallons or greater and must comply with Federal Department of Transportation (DOT) Alcohol and Drug testing rules as a condition of continued employment. Work experience operating Tandem Axle Dump Truck preferred. May be required to complete a battery of tests as deemed appropriate by Human Resources to evaluate competencies in operating equipment.

The City Charter requires that City Employees must establish residence within Shelby County within six (6) months from date of Employment. Proof of residence will be required at the time of hire.
