Budget Manager
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Operations Management or a closely related field and ten (10) years of professional financial experience with at least seven (7) years in supervisory experience in finance operations; or any combination of experience and training which enables one to perform the essential job functions. Must obtain and maintain a Certified Municipal Finance Officer certification within twenty-four (24) months of hire as a condition of continued employment. Master's degree in Finance, Public Administration, Business Administration preferred. Working experience in budgeting in the public sector and ensuring compliance with applicable laws preferred.
The City Charter requires that City Employees must establish residence within Shelby County within six (6) months from date of Employment. Proof of residence will be required at the time of hire.
