Cart Central Supervisor
TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Requires ability to operate automobile, to review reports and repair requests, and to communicate with staff, vendors and public.
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is performed outdoors and indoors in a warehouse environment. Must arrive at office to have schedules prepared for workers to begin work by 7:00 a.m. Work involves contact with staff, vendors, citizens, and union representatives.
High school graduation and seven (7) years experience in solid waste management or closely related area with at least two (2) of the seven (7) years in a supervisory capacity; or any combination of experience and training which enables one to perform essential job functions. Must possess a valid TN driver's license.
The City Charter requires that City Employees must establish residence within Shelby County within six (6) months from date of Employment. Proof of residence will be required at the time of hire.
