Claims Analyst
TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Requires the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with staff, attorneys, claimants, witnesses, division directors, management, outside attorneys and the general public. Requires the ability to lift and carry files up to 15lbs without assistance. Requires the ability to traverse uneven ground from time to time to perform visual inspections related to claims. Requires the ability to operate basic office equipment, such as a personal computer and related software. Requires the ability to operate automobile.
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Majority of work is performed in an office environment. Outside work requires exposure to dust, fumes, odors, noise, heat, traffic, fire damage, and various weather conditions, etc. involves contact with the public at times under stressful conditions.
Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies, Business Administration or closely related field and four (4) years' experience in legal investigation and claims processing; or any combination of experience and training which enables one to perform the essential job functions. Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license as a condition of continued employment.
