MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Arts Administration, Cultural Management, Public Administration or related field and eleven (11) years of professional experience in arts/and or cultural administration, including management of museums, cultural facilities, performing arts, public arts, art in private development, or community art engagement with nine (9) of the eleven (11) years in a supervisory capacity. Masters degree preferred. Working experience collaboratively across multiple sectors including government, business, and philanthropy preferred. Working Experience in building revenue streams and managing state and federal government contracts preferred.
The City Charter requires that City Employees must establish residence within Shelby County within six (6) months from date of Employment. Proof of residence will be required at the time of hire.
