Diversity Recruiter (Part-Time)
Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration, Human Resources, or a related field and five (5) years of progressive professional work experience in performing recruiting/employee selection activities in a Human Resources environment; or any combination of experience or training which enables one to perform the essential job functions. Must have knowledge and working experience with applicant tracking software such as Oracle and of software programs including Microsoft Office applications. Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license as a condition of continued employment. Working experience in test development, event planning, project management or experience in a lead capacity preferred.
The City Charter requires that City Employees, with the exception of "first responders", must establish residence within Shelby County within six (6) months from their date of employment. Proof of residence will be required at the time of hire. As defined by Tennessee Senate Bill No. 29, "first responder" means paid, full-time law enforcement officers, firefighters, and emergency medical personnel.
