Engagement & Brand Analyst (Part-time)
Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Strategic Communications, Public Relations, or closely related field and four (4) years' progressively responsible work experience in a capacity performing internal communication, HR communication, employee engagement, or branding activities; or any combination of experience or training which enables one to perform the essential job functions. Working experience using Associated Press (AP) Style writing, copy writing, executive communications and internal communication campaigns required. Working experience using software programs to include but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite, desktop publishing, Photoshop, Canva, GovDelivery, MailChimp and Sales Force required. Working Experience in HR, Benefits, Wellness or Total Rewards Communications is a plus.
The City Charter requires that City Employees, with the exception of "first responders", must establish residence within Shelby County within six (6) months from their date of employment. Proof of residence will be required at the time of hire. As defined by Tennessee Senate Bill No. 29, "first responder" means paid, full-time law enforcement officers, firefighters, and emergency medical personnel.
