Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Agronomy, Recreation or related field and five (5) years experience in golf operations, golf instruction, or customer services, inventory control and procurement in the restaurant and hotel industries or other customer industry locations, with  three (3) of the five (5) years in a managerial/supervisory capacity; or any combination of experience or training which enables one to perform the essential job functions. Must possess and maintain a valid drivers license as a condition of continued employment.  Knowledge of the game of golf, including rules of the game and use of golf equipment, etc., is preferred.   Experience in golf course operations, as well as PGA membership preferred.

The City Charter requires that City Employees must establish residence within Shelby County within six (6) months from date of Employment. Proof of residence will be required at the time of hire.
