TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:  Must be able to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.  Requires the ability to use general office equipment such as a personal computer, telephone, and calculator. Requires the ability to lift and carry objects such as boxes of files weighing up to 15 lbs.

TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:  Majority of work is performed in an office environment. Requires meetings at off-site city offices.
 
Internal Auditor – Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or closely related field and three (3) years' experience in auditing and internal control applications; or any combination of experience and training which enables one to perform the essential job functions.  Must have a valid Tennessee driver's license

SALARY RANGE: $38,701.52 ($1,488.52/biweekly) - $58,448.00 ($2,248.00/biweekly)

Associate Auditor B – Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance or Business Administration; or any combination of experience and training which enables one to perform the essential job functions.  Experience in auditing and internal control applications preferred.

SALARY RANGE: $29,090.10 ($1,118.85/biweekly) - $43,056.00 ($1,656.00/biweekly)

The City Charter requires that City Employees must establish residence within Shelby County within six (6) months from date of Employment. Proof of residence will be required at the time of hire.
