IT Project Management Office Manager
TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Primarily desk work. Requires the ability to operate general office equipment such as a personal computer. Must be able to communicate both verbally and in writing.
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Majority of work is performed in an office environment. Requires travel to off-site visits. Work involves contact with staff and the public.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, or a related field with nine (9) years of project management experience with seven (7) of the nine (9) in a supervisory capacity. Working experience with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices and ability to complete projects according to an outlined scope, budget, and timeline. Must possess and maintain Project Management Professional (PMP) certification as a condition of continued employment.
The City Charter requires that City Employees must establish residence within Shelby County within six (6) months from date of Employment. Proof of residence will be required at the time of hire.
