MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field with seven (7) years of experience in designing, implementing, and supporting LAN/WAN/WLAN, IP telephony, and Information Security and five (5) of the seven (7) years in a lead capacity. Must possess and maintain at least one (1) of the following certifications as a condition of continued employment: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Aruba Certified Mobility Associate (ACMA), Aruba Certified ClearPass Associate (ACCA) and Extreme Certified Specialist (ECS) IN Campus EXOS or Campus Fabric. Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license as a condition of continued employment. Working experience with low voltage structured cabling and outside plant fiber optic cabling is highly preferred.

The City Charter requires that City Employees must establish residence within Shelby County within six (6) months from date of Employment. Proof of residence will be required at the time of hire.
