MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in City or Regional Planning, Architecture, Urban Design, or related field and two (2) years of experience in planning, urban design, architecture, transportation, GIS/analytics, civic engagement, or community development; or any combination of experience and training which enables one to perform the essential job functions. Master's degree may substitute for two (2) years of experience. Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license as a condition of continued employment. Bilingual (Spanish/English) speaking abilities strongly preferred. Working experience with relevant software such as ArcGIS, SketchUp, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite is preferred.  

The City Charter requires that City Employees must establish residence within Shelby County within six (6) months from date of Employment. Proof of residence will be required at the time of hire.
