Pool Manager (part-Time)
TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to communicate effectively with patrons, staff, and management. Must be able to lift 70lbs. and perform maintenance and cleaning tasks.
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is performed primarily outdoor pools in the summer season with a crowd of patrons.
High school graduate or equivalent and must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age. Must successfully complete training program to obtain CPR certification. Current or previous CPR certification preferred.
The City Charter requires that City Employees, with the exception of "first responders", must establish residence within Shelby County within six (6) months from their date of employment. Proof of residence will be required at the time of hire. As defined by Tennessee Senate Bill No. 29, "first responder" means paid, full-time law enforcement officers, firefighters, and emergency medical personnel.
