Recycling Representative - Solid Waste
TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Requires the ability to communicate with the general public by phone, in writing, and in person. Must be able to operate automobile and basic office equipment such as personal computer, phone, calculator, and copier.
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is performed in an office environment and outdoors performing route audits and training crews on collection procedures. May be exposed to changing weather conditions.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: College degree in education, marketing, public relations or related field or four (4) years of experience with emphasis in customer service; or any combination or experience and training which enables one to perform the essential job functions. Must possess a valid TN Driver's License.
The City Charter requires that City Employees must establish residence within Shelby County within six (6) months from date of Employment. Proof of residence will be required at the time of hire.
