MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSHigh school diploma/equivalent and four (4) years' experience in right-of-way/grounds maintenance, including a minimum of one (1) year in a lead capacity; or any equivalent combination of training and experience, which enables one to perform the essential job functions. Must have a valid Class "B" Commercial driver's license as a condition of continued employment. Must comply with Federal Department of Transportation (DOT) Alcohol and Drug testing rules as a condition of continued employment. Must successfully complete job-related skills testing as designated by Human Resources. Experience using various computer applications preferred.

 

The City Charter requires that City Employees must establish residence within Shelby County within six (6) months from date of Employment. Proof of residence will be required at the time of hire.
