RN Dispatch Operator (Part-time)
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Must be willing to work various shifts, holidays, weekends, and rotate days off. The dispatch area is a highly secured, enclosed area. Incumbents must remain at their assigned workstation for the duration of the shift and are not allowed to leave their station without a backup dispatcher and/or notifying a superior. Must be able to perform work in a noisy environment which may be distracting during calls.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school graduate or equivalent and three (3) years' experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the acute care setting. Must possess and maintain a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee and maintain as a condition of employment. Must possess and maintain an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Provider certification as a condition of continued employment. Must be able to complete a battery of job -related tests as designated by Human Resources such as typing at least 25 words per minute.
