Service Delivery Inventory Specialist Lead
TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Requires the ability to work with PCs, networks, and various communications equipment. Communicates effectively with internal and external personnel orally and in writing. Requires the ability to stand, walk, squat, kneel, and reach with hands and arms repetitively. Requires the ability to lift, push, and pull 60lbs. Requires the ability to operate an automobile.
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Involves contact with division management and end users, technical support and executive management. Involves contact with various firms, outside vendors, and solutions providers. Requires frequent travel to offices throughout the city.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma and six (6) years of professional experience with inventory control with two (2) of six (6) years in a lead capacity; or any combination of experience and training which enables one to perform the essential job functions. Working experience with Microsoft Office Suites is required. Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license as a condition of continued employment. Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
The City Charter requires that City Employees must establish residence within Shelby County within six (6) months from date of Employment. Proof of residence will be required at the time of hire.
