Shift_Auction Super Lead
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is performed in both an office environment and outside on a vehicle lot environment including exposure to dust, fumes, odors, all types of weather conditions for long periods of time during auctions, and potentially hazardous chemicals and synthetic residues.
High School graduate or equivalent and six (6) years experience in vehicle storage or repair with four (4) of the six (6) years in a supervisory position; or any combination of experience and training which enables one to perform the essential job functions. Must have a valid driver's license. Must be willing to work various shifts and rotate days off. Specific experience working on an impound lot and identifying/cataloging vehicles strongly preferred.
The City Charter requires that City Employees, with the exception of "first responders", must establish residence within Shelby County within six (6) months from their date of employment. Proof of residence will be required at the time of hire. As defined by Tennessee Senate Bill No. 29, "first responder" means paid, full-time law enforcement officers, firefighters, and emergency medical personnel.
