Sr. HR Business Partner Manager (Public Works)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or a closely related field and eight (8) years professional experience in a strategic Human Resources role to include administering and investigating employee and labor relations, EEO, and Title VII discrimination policies and complaints; with six (6) of the eight (8) years in a managerial capacity; or any combination of experience and training which enables one to perform the essential job functions. Master’s degree or related human resources certifications preferred. Working experience in implementing a HRBP program preferred
The city charter requires that City employees must establish residency within Shelby County within (6) six months from date of hire.
The City Charter requires that City Employees, with the exception of "first responders", must establish residence within Shelby County within six (6) months from their date of employment. Proof of residence will be required at the time of hire. As defined by Tennessee Senate Bill No. 29, "first responder" means paid, full-time law enforcement officers, firefighters, and emergency medical personnel.
