Teen Learning Lab Specialist (Part-Time)
TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing. Requires the use of general office equipment such as computers and telephones. Requires lifting and carrying objects up to 30 lbs., such as books and equipment, traversing throughout the building, bending, stooping, and reaching.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma and one (1) year related work experience in a specialized field such as video production, audio engineering, song writing, narrative sequencing, photography, coding, game design, web design, music production, illustration, animation, digital cinema, digital media, 3D printing and design, laser cutting, vinyl cutting, and wood cutting; or any combination of experience or training which enables one to perform the essential job functions.
The City Charter requires that City Employees, with the exception of "first responders", must establish residence within Shelby County within six (6) months from their date of employment. Proof of residence will be required at the time of hire. As defined by Tennessee Senate Bill No. 29, "first responder" means paid, full-time law enforcement officers, firefighters, and emergency medical personnel.
