MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Associate's degree in Electronic Engineering or two (2) years of Military Electronics Training/Experience and/or equivalent Electronics/Electrical work related experience; or any combination of experience and training which enables one to perform the essential job functions. Must either possess a valid Class "B" Tennessee Commercial Driver's License, or obtain such license before the end of six (6) months employment as a condition of continued employment and must comply with Federal Department of Transportation (DOT) Alcohol and Drug testing rules. International Municipal Signal Association (IMSA) certification as a Traffic Signal Technician and/or Traffic Signal Inspection is preferred.

The City Charter requires that City Employees must establish residence within Shelby County within six (6) months from date of Employment. Proof of residence will be required at the time of hire.
