Vehicle Storage Svc Super
TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Requires the use of equipment, such as computer terminal, telephone, calculator and cash register. May be required to operate wrecker, forklift, or tractor. Requires walking in the vehicle storage lot. Involves contact with staff, police personnel and the general public.
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work is performed in an office and/or storage lot environment exposed to all types of weather conditions.
High school graduate or equivalent and four (4) years equivalent work-related experience; with two (2) of the four (4) years in a supervisory/lead capacity preferred; or any combination of experience or training which enables one to perform the essential job functions.
The City Charter requires that City Employees, with the exception of "first responders", must establish residence within Shelby County within six (6) months from their date of employment. Proof of residence will be required at the time of hire. As defined by Tennessee Senate Bill No. 29, "first responder" means paid, full-time law enforcement officers, firefighters, and emergency medical personnel.
