Compliance Assistant
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to read, write, and understand verbal instructions. Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age and not over the age of twenty (20).
SPECIAL CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT: This is a temporary grant funded, non-commissioned position. Work is performed throughout the day, but hours will vary. Work assignments will be offered on a sporadic basis and must be regularly accepted as a condition of continued employment.
The City Charter requires that City Employees, with the exception of "first responders", must establish residence within Shelby County within six (6) months from their date of employment. Proof of residence will be required at the time of hire. As defined by Tennessee Senate Bill No. 29, "first responder" means paid, full-time law enforcement officers, firefighters, and emergency medical personnel.
