MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice, Criminology, Urban Studies, Social Science, or related field and four (4) years’ of professional experience with one (1) year experience as a crime/research analyst in a criminal justice agency; or any combination of experience and training which enables one to perform the essential job functions. Working experience in computer data systems, statistical analysis such as SPSS, and mapping software programs such as ArcGIS. Must be able to obtain a Tennessee Information Enforcement System (TIES) certification within twelve (12) months of hire and maintain as a condition of continued employment. May be required to complete a battery of tests as deemed appropriate by Human Resources to evaluate competencies in performing job duties. All candidates must successfully pass a criminal justice employment background check to work within the Police Services Division.
