MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Two (2) years of college with at least three (3) courses in Accounting or related field and five (5) years accounting functions such as billing, receivables, payables or related experience; or any combination of experience and training which enables one to perform the essential job functions. Sewer fee billing experience preferred. Knowledge of sewer procedures and policies in accordance to City Ordinances preferred. Working knowledge of PC application programs, including Microsoft Office strongly preferred. Related bachelor’s degree preferred.

 

The City Charter requires that City Employees must establish residence within Shelby County withing six (6) months from the date of employment.  Proof of residence will be required at the time of hire.
