Environmental Enforcement Officer
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school graduate or equivalent and eight (8) years’ experience working
with law enforcement, codes inspection; or the equivalent combination of education and experience which enables
one to perform the essential job functions. College Degree or coursework credit strongly preferred. Must possess
and maintain a valid driver’s license as a condition of continued employment.
The City Charter requires that City Employees must establish residence within Shelby County withing six (6) months from the date of employment. Proof of residence will be required at the time of hire.
