Environmental Project Coordinator I (Stormwater)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Environmental Project Coordinator I: Associate’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science/Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field and four (4) years’ experience in environmental protection, enforcement programs and/or environmental regulations; or any combination of experience and training which enables one to perform the essential job functions. A bachelor’s degree in one of the above fields may be used to substitute for two (2) of the required four (4) years of experience. Storm Water candidate must obtain the required certifications to preform required job duties within 12 months of hire and maintain as condition of continued employment. Industrial Monitoring candidate must obtain the required certifications to preform required job duties within 24 months of hire and maintain as condition of continued employment. Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license as condition of continued employment.
The City Charter requires that City Employees must establish residence within Shelby County withing six (6) months from the date of employment. Proof of residence will be required at the time of hire.
