Environmental Project Coordinator II
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Associate’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science/Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field and five (5) years’ experience in environmental protection, enforcement programs and/or environmental regulations; or any combination of experience and training which enables one to perform the essential job functions. A bachelor’s degree in one of the above fields may be used to substitute for two (2) of the required four (4) years of experience. Must possess and maintain the required certifications for a Level I positions as a condition of continued employment. Must possess and maintain the required certifications for Level II as a condition of continued employment. Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license as a condition of employment.
The City Charter requires that City Employees must establish residence within Shelby County within six (6) months from date of Employment. Proof of residence will be required at the time of hire. Proof of residence will be required at the time of hire. As defined by Tennessee House Bill 105, "first responder means paid, full-time law enforcement officers, firefighters, and emergency medical personnel and dispatchers of law enforcement, fire and emergency medical service departments."
