Heavy Equipment Services Manager
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field and eight
(8) years experience in the construction and maintenance of infrastructure including specific regulatory experience with Army
Corps of Engineers and TDEC relative to construction projects, drainage ditches or creeks, etc., with four (4) of the eight (8)
years in a supervisory capacity; or any combination of experience and training which enables one to perform the essential job
functions.. Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license as a condition of continued employment. Working experience
with various types of heavy equipment used in the construction industry, including dozers, track hoes, cranes, motor graders,
compactors, backhoes, and front-end loaders preferred.
The City Charter requires that City Employees must establish residence within Shelby County within six (6) months from date of Employment. Proof of residence will be required at the time of hire.
