ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Works under the direction of assigned manager to assist in the evaluation, testing, and validation of IT systems, services, and software. Assesses service levels, metrics, and product performance to ensure they meet established quality standards and provides a high level of customer satisfaction. Documents issues and tracks status updates. Gathers requirements and uncovers areas of improvement. Creates test scripts and performs functional testing. Develops and reviews instructional aids and materials used in quality workshops. Participates in the testing of applications and software to ensure functionality during the development process and the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phase. Conducts testing on software, websites, and other technical products to identify and resolve defects and other potential issues. Assists in the evaluation of business processes and requirements gathering. Develops and/or participates in the development of solutions to resolve problems and improve processes. Conducts meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings. Documents and communicates results and other necessary information. Processes and implements recommended changes from management. Conducts research on emerging products, services, protocols, and standards in support of service delivery technology procurement and development efforts.

Must be able to communicate clearly both orally and in writing with internal and external customers and staff members at all levels.
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS
Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Some travel is required to on-site meetings and visits. Work involves contact with staff and the public.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Project Management, or a closely related field and four (4) years of experience performing quality assurance duties; or any combination of experience and training which enables one to perform the essential job functions. Working experience with analytical and statistical techniques. Working experience with Microsoft Office applications is preferred.
