ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Works under the general direction of the Community Affairs Deputy Director to manage all operational aspects of the Building Renewed Independence, Dignity, Growth, and Empowerment (B.R.I.D.G.E) program including staffing, budget management, coordination, service delivery and evaluation. Manages the program staff and participants to ensure successful program delivery and outcomes. Coordinates job readiness workshops, skills training, and industry certifications in partnership with local workforce agencies. Creates pathways to full-time employment by connecting participants to apprenticeships, union programs, or city employment. Troubleshoots barriers to success and coordinate with appropriate agencies to provide holistic support. Tracks participant progress, including attendance, skill development, job placements, and retention. Collaborate with city departments, nonprofits, neighborhood associations, and employers to identify workforce needs. Travels to represents B.R.I.D.G.E. at community events, job fairs, and city meetings. Maintains strong relationships with referral sources and community-based partners. Maintains accurate program records, including participant data, performance metrics, and budget tracking. Prepares reports and presentations for internal stakeholders, funders, and city leadership. Ensures program compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines.

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing. Requires the ability to operate general office equipment such as a personal computer and telephone. Requires the ability to operate an automobile. Requires some lifting and carrying objects such as office supplies weighing up to 15 lbs.
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Majority of work is performed in an office environment. Requires travel to other site locations throughout the city.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree and seven (7) years professional experience in community affairs and administrative services with five (5) of the seven (7) years in a supervisory capacity; or any combination of experience and training which enables one to perform the essential job functions. Must possess and maintain a driver’s license as a condition of continued employment. Working experience with Microsoft Office suite is strongly preferred.
