TR Communication Specialist (Part-time)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field and 2 years of experience in marketing communications, graphic design, or related field. Proficient working experience with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), Canva,or similar platforms preferred. Possess a foundational understanding of web design principles with working
experience in HTML/CSS and/or content management systems (CMS) preferred Working experience in HR communications or knowledge of Total Rewards programs strongly preferred.
The City Charter requires that City Employees, with the exception of "first responders", must establish residence within Shelby County within six (6) months from their date of employment. Proof of residence will be required at the time of hire. As defined by Tennessee Senate Bill No. 29, "first responder" means paid, full-time law enforcement officers, firefighters, and emergency medical personnel.
